I'm Trying To Tell You Something

(25.05.01 - 25.06.21)

Air Water Skin Teeth, in partnership with the Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) and community organizations across Seattle, including an international collaboration, came together to illuminate a truth too often left in the shadows: the global crisis of femicide and intimate partner violence, and its connection with the accelerating impacts of climate change.

Through visual art, performance, a survivor-centered exhibition, training workshops, an international visual art presentation, and a public panel with leading experts, we created a space where grief, resilience, and collective imagination could coexist. This collaboration invited our community to see the intersections—how environmental destabilization amplifies vulnerability, how systems of harm echo across the body and the planet, and how creativity and sensitive dialogue can become a form of resistance and repair.

Rooted in our mission at the nexus of arts, ecology, and social justice, this project embodies what we stand for: bringing people together to witness, to learn, and to act toward a more just and livable future.
